Prince William County, Virginia is a large and diverse county located 35 miles SW of Washington, DC. We are a growing organization with more than 450 career Firefighters/EMTs or Medics. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package along with tremendous promotional and learning opportunities.
We give hiring preference to candidates with VA or NREMT-I/99 or NREMT-P. Starting salary with certification is $49,377 plus hourly supplement pay and annual retention supplement.
We also hire individuals with no previous experience; starting salary $44,086 plus annual retention supplement. If selected, candidates are fully trained in Firefighting and as an Emergency Medical Technician at our 22-week Training Academy with full pay and benefits.
